Heating Oil

We have been supplying heating oil to customers in the Kawartha Lakes for over 75 years.  We have a service technician on staff to perform system inspections and also any maintenance or service your system might require.  If you are new to oil, then give us a call so we can help you to be as comfortable as possible with your system.  

In order for any fuel company to deliver oil to you, they must have a complete inspection of the fuel burning system completed and on file.  This is to ensure that there are no unsafe conditions that could cause danger to both you and the environment.  We have our own service technician to perform these inspections and we perform them at no cost to you.  We keep the inspection on file and will advise you of any revisions that need to be made.  Oil delivery can be done on an automatic or a will call basis.

Your oil heating system requires annual maintenance to keep it running at peak efficiency, as well as being a requirement under CSA regulation B139.  We can perform the maintenance on your system for you.  This includes replacement of your oil filter and the burner nozzle, cleaning of the inside of the heat exchanger and checking all of the safety devices in the system.  At the end of the service the air/fuel burn ratio is checked and adjusted and the efficiency rating of the furnace is calculated.  This annual service can save you money on oil as well as future repairs to the system from incomplete combustion as well as the safety aspect of making sure your appliance is exhausting properly and not contaminating your home.

Replacing your heating oil tank is one of the most common, and costly, repairs that you will have to have done.  New regulations require different tank construction, new secondary containment measures, and also new tank support requirements.  Each installation is different, and our goal is to get you up and running again for as little cost as possible.  We are very good at making sure our customers comply with code requirements, without spending extra money on items not required for their particular home.  Let us look at your particular situation and see if we can help.  In many circumstances where your insurance company is asking for tank replacement, we can appease them with some small changes to the overall system.
